Amazing artcile, found it in Pinterest.
I have been to Creta and Bali, on my own, perfect for solo travel.
I’d love to see Naxos and Morocco!
I’ve tried Kyoto and Hoi An, they are great for solo travel and very safe for women! I’ve done Bali with my friends too and it was great. Mykonos in Greece too (not sure how would it be solo). Haven’t tried Chania or Naxos. What’s better for solo travel? Checked your other website and loved it, your journeys seem unique, i’ll take one in the future for sure!
Hey Lilliana, Thank you for your good words, looking forward to host you in Greece!
What’s “better”, really depends from a lot since Naxos and Chania are 2 somewhat different destinations.
I’d say Chania is ideal if you want slow pace, laid-back vacation, long walks, delicious food, hospitable locals, accessible transportation, a variety of day-trips. Chania old town is one of the best solo female destinations I’ve been and loved it due to its ambiance and locals.
Naxos is perfect for village explorations, beach hopping, amazing gastronomy and outdoor experiences like hiking, trekking and 4×4. A car rental is highly recommended in Naxos island!
Regarding Mykonos many have combined it with its extremely famous party scene, nightlife, luxurious lifestyle but the island has another side too. I’d recommend Mykonos for solo female travel in combination with another island and again would recommend a car rental!
